A twelve year old boy survived the Great Depression U.S. with his mother and his dying grandfather, the Italian immigrant Sabatoni Roma (Al Pacino). The title ("25 cents") refers to money that the boy intends to get to go to the movies. The director of this product is James Foley, the same as that of the estimable "Glengarry Glen Ross " (1992).
