Scarface, 1983 ***
The director Brian de Palma films a screenplay by Oliver Stone, a film remake of the same title by Howard Hawks, 1932. Chronicles the rise of a drug kingpin in Miami, Tony Montana (Al Pacino), in a tone as effective as a solvent. Accompanying Pacino in sharing his boss Robert Loggia as Frank Lopez and Michelle Pfeiffer as Elvira Hankock the girl. Horrible soundtrack with synthesizers by Giorgio Moroder.
